Being stuck in the airport, stuck on the road … or for that matter stuck just about anywhere with a phone that is about to die is the worst! This is why a portable charger comes in so handy as a small accessory that can even be carried in a purse and pulled out at a moment’s notice.

Bamboo Lyocell Eye Mask
I feel like eye masks are the one travel item that it’s easy to scoff at and be like “Hah. I don’t really need that.” But when you’re deep into a hours long flight and the airline staff continues to flash the lights on and off, you silently start hating yourself and think … Why didn’t I bring an eye mask? So many eye masks come for just a few dollars, but why I love this one is because it’s made sustainably – it’s healthy, soft and made of bamboo. As a gift, your friend can use it assure it’s manufactured by someone doing their best to make it healthy. And, it’s stylish. Double win.

Eh, the boring old compression socks as a travel gifts. Socks sound so ridiculous as a gift, but really, these things are so handy on a long international flight. They keep your blood flowing and not clotting. And they’re all too easy to forget (I say that having forgot them on too many flights). They are functional and practical, but totally worth it.
