If I were going to wear this outfit to work, I’d imagine I’d be working in a NYC high rise, where yes, I had a corner office. I was one of those snazzy little journalists or advertising firm reps that almost every rom-com out there features. I’d dress great, always look great and have that corner office.
But really, even without the corner office, this is a stunning work outfit. It’s not often that a dress comes out that in such a good rose color as this. That it just makes me want to add it to my fall wardrobe right now.
Tie Neck Dress
This dress is a wardrobe must-have. It’s classic and elegant and will wear well in nearly every situation. The color is what seems to make it so unique. To find a dress in this color is rare. But it’s the right color for fall, and will match well with boots, scarves, even tights when the weather turns a tad colder.
Here is another wardrobe staple, the wrap sweater. Every girl should have one in her wardrobe. This one from J. Crew, has a nice length, texture and weight. It’s not so light that it’s like a shawl, but it’s not so heavy that it’s tough to wear into work.
These pumps are what add the extra umph to the outfit. You could easily wear a flat or a kitten heel with this dress, but the pumps give a strongly formal look and the added heel height is very feminine. Nude is a nice neutral color to match the rose of the dress as well as the purse.
You can never own enough tote bags, and this nude tote is no exception. A perfect bag for more neutral colored outfits such as these, this bag is timeless and will go well with most outfits. Especially as a workwear bag, this bag has a classic look but is large enough to store most everything you need.
Circle earrings are in. These simple little gold circle gems are no exception and what makes them so great is their simplicity. Just a small round circle of gold can make your outfit look great, just like these do. They have small pave diamonds around the edges to add some pizzazz too.
